Background

As part of the Common Platform Programme, the aim of this project was to modernise the currently broken and email-intensive justice system. Our team worked on the initial part of the process from the police investigation, to pre-charge consultation with CPS lawyers, through to the charging decision, and the publishing of the bundle of evidence for defence lawyers.

I also designed the Reporting Dashboard for Operational Managers to manage productivity, case load and resources.

Process 

We worked in agile sprints, delivering epics and stories, refining requirements, creating prototypes that were tested with our pilot site of internal CPS users. Prototypes were iterated, research findings were presented back, and final designs went into development.

I worked alongside another UX designer, content designers, researchers, BAs, technical analysts, developers, product owners and business experts.

Final Outcome 

Numerous features were developed and added to the product for live testing with the pilot site users.
