ObjectTech.

Oct 2018 - Feb 2019

Background

ObjectTech was a blockchain-based identity ‘scale-up’ which aimed to give users control of their identity. Their aim was to let users create, manage and utilise their ‘identity’ securely via a continually verified ‘identity locker’. Utilising location, behavioural, and biometric data to verify their identity, this would open up a new world of possibilities for travel, accessing financial services, humanitarian aid, age-verification, paying for goods and services and attending events.

Process

Working with a UI designer, I was responsible for the UX for the customer facing app. I produced wireframes and prototypes to visualise and test the product – how users could onboard themselves to this locker, upload verification documents, and share their identity (and stop sharing) with providers as required.

Using the product vision and the high-priority use cases and user needs, I created customer journey maps to help build commercial partnerships and bring the vision to life.

I worked alongside a UI designer in a two-person in-house design team; as well as BAs, technical analysts, product owners and business development.
